4 Easy Steps To Self-esteem and Success - Part 2
How self hypnosis can give your self-esteem and boost and help you gain success.


I named an earlier article of mine `Success & Self-esteem Go Hand in Hand Together’ because I truly believe that you cannot have an abundance of one without an abundance of the other. Sure you can have a little of one without the other, but who on earth wants that?

So if you are looking to give your self-esteem a boost and have read and used Step 1 here is Step 2 to help you further down the road to success.

Step 2 Learn to Accept Praise or a Compliment - Learn it’s Worth.

Firstly, before you start accepting anything, let’s think about how hard it is for *You* to hand out praise or a compliment. It’s not always easy is it?

Often we give them away far too easily and they loose their worth and on other occasions we can’t find the words to express ourselves enough. What I’m getting at here is that when you receive a compliment the person giving it has often gone to a lot of trouble to hand it to you. So when you receive it accept it for the worth in which it was given.

How often have you said to someone following an exchange of compliments something like, ` Oh it was nothing really it only took a few minutes of my time ’.

Hey, isn’t your time valuable to you, do you want to waste it on something that was a nothing thing to do. I’m sure that you don’t, because you won’t become successful by wasting time doing nothing things for other people, but that is what you have just communicated to both yourself and the other person isn’t it, what’s that going to do for your self-esteem?

Learn to simply say `Thank You’ and maybe add that it was a pleasure to help or to have been of assistance, along with a nice (not cheesey) smile.

That’s all there is to it. It may seem like such a small thing to do but I can assure you that if used regularly you will be amazed just how much more comfortable you will feel about yourself and the more comfortable you feel the higher your self-esteem ranking will be.

Don’t forget, as you become more comfortable with yourself to add it to your Self-esteem Success Poster that you made in Step 1.

Simple but effective, now lets move on to Step 3.
